Who doesn’t love Jesesi?! We all remember her outstanding performance in the 1993 film NERIA.

In Cook Off, she stars as Anesu’s wise and loving grandmother, ‘Gogo’.

Our lead actress Tendaiishe Chitima – who plays Anesu – told us how excited and blown away she was when she arrived on the Cook Off set and found out that she’d be acting across from such an iconic talent. Tendie said that Jesesi immediately put her at ease and was a generous and caring mentor.

Jesesi began her acting career more than 30 years ago in Inongove Njake Njake. Neria made her a household name.
